Aseel
اصیل
Aseel is the reason Khairpur is on the world date map. The fruit is oval, firm and meaty rather than sticky, with a clean caramel sweetness and enough structure to hold its shape when handled. It dries and stores better than the softer varieties, which is exactly why it dominates Pakistan's date exports. We take it at both the pukka and dried stages.
