Early Grand
ارلی گرینڈ
Early Grand is the first peach off Swat each year, arriving in late May when nothing else in the stone-fruit basket is ready. The fruit is medium, red-blushed over yellow, with yellow flesh that clings partly to the stone. It is firmer and less perfumed than the later peaches — the price of being early — but it is the one that survives a courier run best.
