The red-fleshed guava of upper Sindh cuts open to a deep pink that surprises people expecting white. It carries the highest sugar of the guavas we handle and a softer, almost strawberry-adjacent note behind the usual guava perfume. It softens fast once ripe, so it moves quickly and is best eaten within a couple of days of delivery.
