Allahabadi Safeda
الہ آبادی سفیدہ
Safeda means white, and that is the point: this is a large guava with clean white flesh and seeds soft enough to eat without thinking about them. It is the sweetest of the white-fleshed guavas and the one most often used commercially for nectar and pulp. Because the fruit is big and the skin thin, it bruises easily and needs careful packing.
